Delete Your Account
Effective date: August 13, 2026
You can delete your Foke account and the personal data associated with it at any time, either directly from the app or by emailing our support team. This page explains both options, what is removed, and how long the process takes.
Delete from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Foke app:
- Open the Foke app on your iOS or Android device.
- Go to your Profile and open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once you confirm, you are signed out on all devices and the deletion process begins automatically. This action cannot be undone.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by email. Write to babashotsapp@gmail.com from any email address with the subject line “Delete my account”, and include the phone number you used to sign in to Foke. Because accounts are tied to a phone number rather than an email address, we will verify that you own the account — typically by sending a one-time code to that phone number — before we delete anything.
What gets deleted
When your deletion request is completed, we permanently remove the personal data linked to your account, including:
- Your profile, display name, and the phone number used to sign in.
- Your watch history, favorites, and likes.
- Device tokens and push-notification settings associated with your account.
What we keep
We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it or where retention is necessary for legitimate security purposes — for example, records needed for fraud prevention, abuse investigation, or to comply with our legal obligations under Indian law. Any retained records are kept only for as long as required for those purposes and are then deleted or anonymized.
Timeline
Deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request, whether it is made in the app or by email. If we cannot verify ownership of the account, we will contact you at the address you wrote from and explain what is needed before the 30-day period begins.
